UK's most experienced providers of training and apprenticeships are looking for a Recruitment Officer at their Telford Centre.

With a legacy spanning over 35 years and recognised by Ofsted as "GOOD" across all areas of provision, they take pride in bridging the skills gap between education and employment.

The salary is £22,000 - £30,000 depending on experience and there is a performance bonus payable if the staff member hits target in month.

Job Outline & Purpose

- To recruit students onto training programmes
- To ensure programme is appropriate for students recruited
- To provide good CEIAG to students
- To safeguard welfare of all students, preventing radicalisation and promoting British Values

Recruitment

* To undertake activities that result in students being recruited and starting on training programmes, including; marketing, outreach, contacts with local agencies, training providers and other referral sources, recruitment initiatives & attending/hosting recruitment fairs/local events/pop up shops/networking meetings etc.

* To have a good understanding of all provision pathways, eligibility, and student characteristics

* To identify barriers and support needs and compile initial support plans for students

* Use of social media to raise company's profile

* Interviewing potential starts and accurately completing supporting paperwork

* Host information sessions for potential new starts

* Ensure centre start targets are met

* To maintain a database of referral sources and manage those relationships to gain further business

* To develop effective links with schools to promote companies pathways and Apprenticeships and support implementation of the Baker clause

* To support/attend local and national career events

* Work in partnership with the Apprenticeship Recruitment Consultants to ensure centre targets are met

* Manage own Outlook diary in order to meet all responsibilities and targets

* To identify Safeguarding issues and follow companies Safeguarding and Prevent process

Administration

* To complete all required documentation in accordance with laid down procedures to meet both contractual and internal requirements

Essential: Qualifications & Experiences

- Level 2 English and Maths (minimum)
- Outreach, sales, marketing or recruitment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload

Desirable: Qualifications & Experiences

- CEIAG Level 3/4
- Experience of working in Education/Training
- Experience of working to targets and sale
- Of working with 16 – 18 year olds
