Distribution Centre Operations Manager

The Role:
As the Distribution Centre Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Managing all aspects of Health and Safety, including internal working groups, processes, and training.
* Leading a team of Shift Supervisors and providing them with the necessary tools to manage their teams effectively.
* Focusing on optimisation, cost-saving and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancement and increasing efficiency.
* Planning and adjusting staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
* Ensuring effective operational plans are in place, especially for the key peak Christmas operating period.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Distribution Centre Operations Manager role will have:
* Proven experience in people management with a track record of training and motivating a team to achieve their goals.
* IOSH qualification.
* Experience of working to and achieving targets and timescales.
* Adept knowledge of planning and forecasting.
* Strong IT Skills, knowledge of AS400 would be advantageous but not essential.
