We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our clients team on a permanent basis for a data centre project in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a critical infrastructure project for a growing and innovative company.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the electrical scope of the data centre project
- Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project deliverables are met
- Manage and mentor a team of electricians and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management
- Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts in a timely and efficient manner
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with data centre projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and construction practices
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale electrical projects from start to finish
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and resource management
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes, including NEC and local building codes
