TEC Partners are working with a world-leading technology client who are currently looking for a Network Security Architect, ideally with experience in the financial services industry, to work on an upcoming, large-scale customer assignment. As a Network Security Architect, you will support Infrastructure Services by maintaining a high level of technical expertise in Network Security, supporting delivery teams and engineers in the deployment of Services, and serving as an escalation point for delivery engineers.

You will also be responsible for assisting with introducing new services, including developing and documenting deployment methodologies, and working with delivery teams to develop those capabilities in the field. This can include meeting with customers for network assessments, network design including firewalls, routing and switching, and leading and supporting network migration execution.

Responsibilities:

Partnering with the PMO counterpart to resolve Risks and Issues upon identification.
Being accountable for resolving technical Risks and Issues in their project using their background and the array of resources available within organisation.
Holding staff, contractors, and partners responsible for ensuring that the best practices and templates are followed and delivered to the customer.
Reviewing and deployment documents, technical assessments, and other technical outputs to ensure a correct and consistent tone is delivered
Managing project as if it were their own stand-alone business and deliver a service that matches the organisation's expectations, focusing on profitability and professionalism.
Pre Sales Support: working with Customers, Technical Solutions Architects, Client Services Execs and Account Teams to identify customer's desired business & technical outcomes.
Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
Create change/cut window Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation.
Perform advanced engineering services supporting the engineering delivery team when necessary.
Champion the delivery of complex Network solutions.
Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers, and mentorship as required.
Responsible for creating documentation for Network technologies. Requirements:

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget, utilizing programmatic approaches, eg. Agile or Waterfall.
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient technical solutions.
Extensive knowledge of Firewall Design, Implementation, and Migrations is required.
Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP communication and routing is required (VRRP, HSRP, VSRP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
Extensive technical knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, Load Balancing.
Extensive technical knowledge of network and security protocols (IPSEC VPN, SGT, SSL VPN, AAA, Dot1x, TrustSec, NAT, QoS)
Extensive expertise in next generation firewall solutions (NGFW).
Experience and expertise in developing architect-level network topology solutions.
Experience with IAM, 2-Factor Authentication, User Account Management (Active Directory (on-prem, Azure), Endpoint Management.
Advanced knowledge and/or certifications in at least one of the following platforms is also beneficial: Arista, Aruba, Cisco, Check Point, F5, For0net, Juniper, Palo Alto, Zscaler This is just a snapshot of our client's requirement. Get in touch for a full job spec and details on the position.
