Role Overview
As a Maths Teacher, you will engage students in exploring mathematical concepts, fostering their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Collaborating with other educators, you will create a supportive and challenging learning environment that promotes academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:
- Design and deliver dynamic maths lessons that engage and challenge students of varying abilities.
- Create lesson plans and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and levels.
- Support students in grasping complex mathematical concepts and applying them to real-world scenarios.
- Monitor students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate with parents and stakeholders about students' performance.
- Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that motivates students to succeed.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in mathematics.
- Proven experience teaching maths at KS3 & KS4 level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging students and collaborating with colleagues and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
