My client is one of the UK's leading maintenance service providers, currently seeking an intelligent and personable Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover the maintenance operations within a critical environment based in Newcastle.

This role would suit an individual that can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required, a conscientious and reliable team player and someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Job Specification:

To attend sites to ensure that the maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance with current relevant legislation.
Reactive, PPMs ad general maintenance
To communicate regularly and effectively with clients, suppliers and other personnel
To organise works allocated time efficiently and work supportively within a team.
To complete site logs and site diaries on a daily basis.
To submit clear, concise and accurate task sheets and reports.

Package:

£40,000 Per Annum + Overtime Available

Monday-Friday 8-5

25 days annual leave + bank holidays

The Person:

Mechanical Qualification
At least 3 years experience
Demonstrate Strong Communication and People Skills due to client facing role.
