Events Manager

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our Clients team in Stoke on Trent ST11 area

The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing various events. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Duties:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, budgeting, and scheduling
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their vision is brought to life

-Proactive selection, development and performance management of team members to ensure they are well motivated, focused and valued for their contribution. Take action to address any problems,including disciplinary matters.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and entertainment providers
- Manage event budgets and ensure expenses are within allocated limits
- Oversee event setup and tear down, ensuring all elements are in place and running smoothly

-Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and statutory requirements with regard to food and beverage safety.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events
- Up sell additional services or products to enhance the event experience
- Work with the Events Business Manager to identify new ideas for events and bring these to fruition.

Requirements:

- Knowledge of hotel and restaurant operations

- Experience in Wedding management is a must
- Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role 2 years
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of hotel and restaurant operations
- Excellent IT and Administration skills
