As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Position Overview: As an Experienced Electrical Estimator at [Company Name], you will play a pivotal role in our bidding and estimation process. You will work closely with our estimating team to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical components of M&E projects across various sectors. We are looking for an individual with significant experience in electrical estimating who can lead our efforts in securing and executing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review project specifications, drawings, and documents to develop comprehensive electrical estimates.
* Collaborate with the estimating team to analyze project requirements, identify potential risks, and propose value engineering solutions.
* Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
* Prepare and present detailed electrical cost estimates, including materials, labor, and associated costs, to senior management and clients.
* Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as necessary.
* Maintain an up-to-date database of historical project cost data.
* Lead efforts in cost analysis and optimization while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
* Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and advancements in electrical systems and technology.
Qualifications:
* Substantial experience in electrical estimating within the M&E contracting industry.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
