Job Description
This Enterprise Cloud Engineer role sits on our Engineering Practices team and plays an instrumental role in transforming and modernizing how Wellmark engineers craft software. You will share knowledge on best practices and drive technological advancements. You will focus on the support of designing and optimizing cloud-native solutions, but IaC, CI/CD, DevOps Practices, and Microservices Architecture are all a part of the ecosystem you will be working to modernize and influence. A familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Sumo, and CloudWatch) and practices for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing system metrics, logs, and traces to ensure system reliability and performance will be needed in this role. You will create architectural patterns to verify alignment with code templates and patterns for Cloud Services. You will serve as a technical resource for engineering staff and product teams in the overall design for assigned deliverables and mentor other engineers in an Agile environment.
