Staff Geologist

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Environmental Services firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Staff Geologist in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities:
Support investigation, remediation, and reporting of environmental projects with a strong focus on subsurface investigations of soil, sediment and groundwater.
Coordinate and conduct environmental site assessments through soil boring/monitoring well installation, soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and soil vapor sampling, and investigation or remediation oversight.
Perform geologic interpretations.
Perform data management, data analysis, and report preparation.
Requirements
B.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field; M.S. is a plus.
2-5 years of relevant experience. Prior environmental consulting experience is a plus.
GIT or PG registration a plus.
Excellent computer skills with MS Office suite. Other technical software such as GIS, CAD, 3D visualization, etc. a plus.
Experience with subcontractor and drilling oversight preferred
The ability to work independently and collaboratively and in a fast-paced work environment.
Attention to detail, analytical judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.
