Job Title: Agile Release Train Engineer**
 
**Duration: 6 months (Contract)**
**Location: Remote, with occasional travel to office in Canary Wharf**
**Outside IR35***
 
**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Agile Release Train Engineer to join our dynamic team in supporting the transformation programme, which utilises cutting-edge geospatial data and technology. This role requires an individual capable of orchestrating multiple teams from various suppliers to ensure seamless releases that maintain all dependencies. As the Agile Release Train Engineer, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing release plans across multiple environments including test, pre-prod, and production. This contract position is outside IR35.
 
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Managing the overall release process.
- Engaging with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are managed.
- Producing detailed release plans that align with project objectives.
- Challenging delivery teams to refine and improve their plans for more effective outcomes.
 
**Required Competencies:**
- Proficient in Agile Scrum/SAFe methodologies.
- Experience with managing multi-vendor teams ("rainbow teams") effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in JIRA, particularly in complex setups.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Experience in managing releases in high-stakes environments.
- Familiarity with Azure platforms.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships.
