Land Management Agent / Land Agent / Right-of-Way Agent
Location: Naperville, IL
Duration of Job: Long term contract assignment
Remote opportunity except when in the field (Greater Chicago-Land)
General Duties:
Real Estate Investigations, title research, route evaluation, advising engineering/operations on existing rights, acquisition of new easement rights, temporary or access rights and review and approval of the real estate aspect of projects for distribution, operation, transmission and gas storage facilities. Education/Experience/Skills: BS or substantial work experience or Certification. BS in Business, Engineering, Law, Science or Real Estate. Preferred Certifications:
Paralegal, Right of Way Professional, Appraiser, PLS.
Minimum of 5 years in one of the following: Utilities, Pipelines, Railroads, Transportation, Development, Underwriting, Title Research, Eminent Domain, Surveying, Appraisal, Government. Strong knowledge of Real Estate Practices, Principles and law. Able to read engineering, ROW and site plans.
Will be active in 4 areas:
1, Real Estate Research duties,
2. Project Management,
3. Acquisition,
4. Permitting duties.
Long term contract with a major Utility.
